Oblique lateral interbody fusion (OLIF) is a minimally invasive decompression technique used in the treatment of lumbar degenerative diseases (LDDs). The posterior oblique ligament (POL) belongs to the medial supporting structures of the knee and is one of the five components of the posteromedial corner (PMC) of the knee. The AP oblique cervical spine projections are supplementary views to the standard AP, odontoid and lateral images in the cervical spine series and are always done bilaterally for comparison purposes.
